    I have nothing but respect for people who continue on in their business for as long as possible. When I was living outside of Nagoya in Kariya there was an elderly gentleman and his wife who were still growing watermelons after decades. Their mindset was they wouldn’t stop until their bodies did; so inspirational.

    That being said, you continue to impress me with your candid, authentic shots of Japan.

      Yeah, it’s amazing how old many Japanese workers are. And how many of them there are too. Farmers. Shop owners. Small business operators. So many occupations. Makes you wonder what the country would be like if they all did retire at 65…
