The contrast in colors in this picture are really interesting. The mans blue suit, the vibrant green trees in the background, and then the dark shadowy corner the other fellow is in. Shot nicely.

Yeah, there really was a marked difference. The bright, sunlight walkway, and then the dark, dismal corner where the poor homeless fella is slumped. In many ways it seemed to sum up the huge gulf between his life and that of the blue suited man.

It really seems as if this picture is made out of two. As you said “…the huge gulf between…”.
Really sad. Sad surrealistic. Sad reality.

Sadly not a very nice contrast, but one we can’t ignore. Or at least shouldn’t ignore.

This was definitely one of the more startling ones. Felt and looked almost like completely different worlds.
